Well I started and finished this but don't understand why I even did it? The night before going to Kaikoura I decided not to take the stitching I had but took some Hardanger material and flax thread and a pattern. As soon as I started I knew I did not want to do it, but I had a three day holiday and no other stitching. So I made a point of finishing it on the train home. Now what to do with it? Hmmm

ReplyDeleteIt's pretty :) and I'm sure you'll find a use for it!
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely - I don't understand why you disliked finishing it. If all other ideas fail, make a pillow covering. I can see how nice this would look with a linen fabric framing it, not close to the flower but with some open space between. Then maybe a colour around, or another shade of linen. Asymmetrically palced, maybe?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. I think you have hit it. Linen it is. I appreciate your advise Tiina
DeleteIt's such a delicate design - I like it. Give it time and you'll come up with a fabulous idea for using it.
