It's official - I can quilt but I can't spell

I am sewing together blocks I hand embroidered almost a year ago. They are some of the memory verses from the boys school year in 2013. I need to re stitch the fourth word here...

And the first one here. Too......
Maybe I should join the boys at school again to practise my reading and spelling. Sigh.

  1. Tee hee! Thank you for making me laugh. In the nicest possible way - not so that I'm happy that you have to redo things!

  3. Love it. Your post brought a smile to my face. Sometimes we all just have to grin and "bare" it.

  5. Don't sweat it, I bought a cross-stitch book at a yard sale last week, and the designer used "Your" instead of "You're" in one of her designs, in the graph and in the stitching. We all get caught sometimes.

    1. Oh that is so good!! What gets me is I did not even notice. Someone else had to point it out to me. Sigh.

  6. Oh, I can relate! I recently quilted the wrong date in a wedding quilt! Fortunately, I realized my error right away and was able to rectify it.

    Happy quilting ~ Tracy

A gorgeous break in Rarotonga

Woo hoo, A holiday with no kids for 11 days. Bliss, relaxing and warm! BTW it was an early 20th wedding anniversary present to ourselves....
